Associate Pastor - Martin Hull |
Matt is married to Charlotte and they have three children.
He joined Woodford Evangelical Church as pastor in July 2024 after ten years of teaching and then ministry training and experience with his church in Oxford and with Crosslands Seminary.
It is his great privilege, as an under-shepherd of Christ, to seek to love and serve the flock here and to reach out into the local community. Matt loves a good book, board games, cycling, walking and the theatre. |

Martin has lived in Woodford Green his whole life and has no intention of moving! He was raised in a Christian family and came to personal faith in Christ at the age of 20 following the sudden death of his father.
He has 3 children and 5 grandchildren who all bring him much joy. (He lost his wife, Corrie, to cancer in 2022).
When he left school Martin worked in the cleaning industry for over 20 years. He trained for the ministry at London Theological Seminary and was the Pastor's Assistant at WEC for 6 years before being called to be Pastor at Grove Hill Evangelical Church in South Woodford, where he served for almost 22 years.
Martin is keen to build relationships with folk outside of the church with the hope of encouraging them to consider the great blessings offered in and through the Lord Jesus.
He has always enjoyed music and is a committee member at the Waltham Forest Music Society. He also volunteers with the conservation group in Redbridge. |

Elder - Jeremy Clifton |

Elder - Kong Yee Yap |
|
Jeremy is married to Lyndsey, and they have three teenage children. Jeremy is a deputy headteacher of a local school. When he’s not playing music at church he enjoys keeping fit, and regularly runs marathons. |

Kong Yee is married to Queena and they have two sons. He is working together with the church to make sure the congregation is cared for. His desire is to see everyone know the love and care of Jesus. He enjoys reading and trying different cuisines. |

Deacon - Trevor Newman |

|
Trevor is married to Danni, and they have two growing boys. Trevor is the Centre Manager of Woodford Community Centre (where WEC meets), and enjoys football, music, playing guitar and all sorts of movies, TV shows, books and games. |
